Role & Responsibilities

‍We are looking for an electronic technician to construct, test, maintain and repair electronic systems and devices. You’ll test system performance, analyze and report on results.

This role requires hands-on experience using various hand and power tools to calibrate and align system components and circuitry. To succeed in this position, you should also be able to comprehend and follow complex technical briefs and understand electronic component parameters.

The position offers great growth prospects: as you develop in your role, you will have the opportunity to forge your own path into more roles with broader and higher responsibilities.

Your Roles and Responsibilities will be:

  • Design prototypes, test equipment, test firmware, PCB layout  
  • Assembly: board level assembly of PCB sub-assemblies, wiring harness
  • Installation: integration of sub-assemblies into system
  • Maintenance: maintain lab equipment (calibration checking, material restock).
  • Testing: prototype testing, component validation testing, system testing (reliability, lifecycle)
  • Troubleshooting
  • Repair
  • Upgrading of electronic equipment and systems where necessary
  • Component search and identification: both during design cycle and production

Education & Experience

  • A technical diploma or higher in Electronics
  • Min. 2 years of experience with circuit design and PCB-level construction
  • Knowledge of CAD based design tools (Eagle/Fusion360 preferably)
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • German language skills or willingness to learn is a plus
