Role & Responsibilities

We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic and rigorous scientist or engineer (m/f/d) to join the Printhead development team with focus on the jettability of ultra high viscosity fluids for the 3D Printing Industry using Quantica's proprietary inkjet technology.

Your Roles will be:

  • Assess and evaluate the jettability potential of early Printhead prototypes or design of experiments
  • Develop and deliver printhead waveform and operating parameters for a variety of ultra high viscosity fluids working closely with the materials development team, external partners and/or Research Institutes
  • Provide test plans and execute them
  • Help identify gaps and define new internal requirements to broaden printhead operation and drop formation control in support of printer and materials roadmap
  • Deliver high quality documentation as part of building the company's knowledge base and best practices
  • Help troubleshoot field printhead quality or reliability problems

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor, Master or above degree in a physical science or engineering discipline or equivalent
  • Previous experience in inkjet technology and particularly in a similar position
