Role & Responsibilities

We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic and rigorous Test and Reliability Engineer (m/f/d) to join our Printhead development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of our ultra high viscosity Printheads through rigorous testing and analysis.

Your Responsibilities will be:

  • Help translate marketing requirements into reliability goals for the printhead and its components
  • Develop and execute test plans and protocols to evaluate the reliability and performance of printheads
  • Design and implement test fixtures and setups to simulate real-world operating conditions
  • Conduct reliability tests, including (accelerated) life testing, environmental testing, and stress testing
  • Analyze test data to identify potential product failures and areas for improvement
  • Quantify in statistical terms the life of the printhead and define the test plan accordingly
  • Collaborate with the design team to incorporate reliability requirements into product design and development
  • Develop and maintain test documentation, including test procedures, reports, and specifications
  • Participate in failure analysis and root cause investigations to resolve reliability issues

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor, Master or above degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Proven experience (3-5 years) in reliability testing and engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or product development environment

  • Excellent interpersonal and cross-functional team working, ability to lead technicians
  • Experience with reliability software tools (e.g., Weibull analysis, reliability prediction software) is a plus
